The Beauty Scenario Tag

Hello there lovelies.

Now I don’t usually post on a Tuesday but when I was tagged by Beautyspicedlatte to take part in the Beauty Scenario Tag created by Lily Pebbles I couldn’t resist. I was usually last to be picked for sport at school possibly because I used to hide at the back applying my Rimmel coffee shimmer lipstick- I was just too cool, I’m glad to be chosen for anything now, so here we go….

1.You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?

This is an easy one for me, high end would have to be Nars Sheer Glow, I’m planning a post on this little gem so don’t want to say too much except OMG!! Drugstore would be the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, I don’t really use drugstore foundations but I used this one a while ago and really liked it so would have this one as a spare.

2.You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?

Hmmm I’d probably ignore it even though I’d probably be staring at it throughout the interview and running my tongue over my teeth and if I didn’t get the job I could smile to myself that she was the daft one with lipstick on her teeth, mwhahaha.

3.You’re not feeling yourself and need a pick me up. Which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?

If it was during the day it would defo be Rimmel Moisture Renew in lets get naked, I’m really loving nudes at the moment. If it was night time then it would be the reddest red I could get my hands on.

4.You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and make up differently?

I wouldn’t wear coffee shimmer for a start, totally not my colour. I’d go a bit easier on the blush, and I certainly wouldn’t use as much Sun-in spray in my hair. Brown lips, bright blonde hair and rosy red cheeks was not a good look.

5.You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut, but they hear wrong and give you a pixie cut, do you…

a) Smile, say thankyou, leave and call your mum hysterical?

b) Cry in the chair and things get awkward? Or

c) Complain to the manager and demand a refund?

It would depend how it looked, if it looked bad then probably b, but otherwise I’d just tell myself it will grow, its winter so I can just wear a hat and I’d tell them I expect my next cut to be at least 50% reduced if not free.

6.Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which ‘do it all’ palette do you pack in your makeup bag?

Easy, Urban Decays Naked Basics, I love this palette so versatile for day and night looks. And hello duty free makeup and a city break equals shopping- right?

7.Your house has been robbed, don’t worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What’s the product you really hope is safe?

My MAC palettes (and single eyeshadows), they can have anything else just step away from the MAC. I put a lot of thought into what I wanted in my MAC palettes and I’m not sure I could be that decisive again. That’s a point does house insurance cover beauty products?

8.Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you…

a) Just pretend you haven’t noticed?

b) Ask them to repurchase it? Or

c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs?

I wouldn’t lend my makeup out, simple as that unless I trusted them 200% and if they still ruined it I’d tell them to keep it and buy me a replacement. I’d offer to do their makeup for them or wait while they used it if I was a bit doubtful that they wouldn’t treat it with the same love and respect that I do.
